CURRENT MISSION

Get out of my safe zone! I don't mean get myself into anything dangerous...but in these first 22 years of my life I've always felt like I'm living too comfortably, not experiencing enough. Time to change that!

ABOUT ME

People would probably describe me as quirky/odd...but in a good way. I've always liked being a little different. I love having stupid conversations that seem to have no point, but love even more those deep, intellectual conversations that leave my mind all scrambled. I'm a skeptic, someone who questions everything. Not in a cynical way...I just love to know WHY. WHY am I here? WHY do things seem to be so put together but broken at the same time? WHY does bacon taste so good?

PHILOSOPHY

We all like to think we are so in control of our thoughts, actions, and feelings. And in some ways we are. But mostly we are molded by our seemingly random bumping into other people, products of life's events happening around us.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be surfing (is that what people say?) while I'm in Europe for these next couple of months and plan on taking hosting requests in Appleton when I get home. That is if anyone actually plans on visiting small town Appleton....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. My roommates in college did quite a bit of it when they were in New Zealand/Europe and said it was amazing. They told me I had to try it
