About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning Spanish

ABOUT ME

Hi there!
I'm Manuel, a student of Computer Science.

I am well behaving, fun and easy-going (as far as I'm concerned ^^).

I was kind of a globetrotter when I was younger. Went several times to India, Nepal, Thailand and also Bali, Dom.Rep., Morocco, Near East, and some places in Europe. But most of the journeys I can't remember anymore.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's short, though much too serious. There's enough time left to grow up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have a room with a couch-like platform and a sleeping bag. I may also empty my bed for couchsurfers and sleep at a friend's or on the couch on my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Melbourne, Prague, Copenhagen and Berlin and have hosted a couple of people so far. Luv it!

Interests

- experiencing the world's offers
- laughing. at anything, anywhere, in any mood. No reasons needed.
- going out & coming home after sunrise
- electronics & computers (not games mostly)
- movie evenings with special persons and other special persons
- singing under the shower and everywhere else
- taking pictures with my analog Minolta Dynax4 (UPDATE: and my new Sony Alpha 35, UPDATE2: having been stolen in Rome :( )
- playing the guitar, although very unregularly

Music, Movies, and Books

- Movies: Life as a House, Donnie Darko, Contact, Summer Storm, Mondscheinkinder, generally dramas. I know it's kind of a prejudice, but I love good European movies.
- Music: weird^^. everything and nothing. Not that of a music expert.
- Books: I'm afraid I don't read much. "Little Brother" was the best one up to now (and, of course, "The Little Prince").

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- before primary school, i went with my parents in a violet FIAT caravan from Austria to Nepal and back for 9 months. The memories are stored in reversal film slides.
- the high plateaus of Tajikistan, the hot hot heat of Indonesia, the amazing nightlife of Sydney, the inconceivably nice people of Nepal and the romantic winters of Austria
- remember the Pokémon Gameboy game, blue edition? Well, yeah... I happen to have run it through in three days when I was bored in February 2013. Please don't hit me...
