About Me
I'm a Civil Engineer by profession but I'm a traveler by passion. My 2017 goal is to finally have the courage to travel to at least one place by myself. I get excited whenever I travel because it's another new adventure for me: to explore the place and learn more about their culture and cuisine. I usually read a lot of blogs or websites to have an idea of the must-know infos regarding the place I'm about to go to just to feed my excitement at the same time I won't miss the must see/must try place or food.
I'm a very outgoing person. I love parties and meeting new people. Although at first I may shy away from people or maybe be a little awkward towards others... Once I'm comfortable enough, you'll see the actual me - outgoing, jolly, friendly, and a bit crazy :))
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always wanted to join CS but felt like it was an unsafe thing to do -- you know... sleep on a stranger's couch?? Of course, before joining CS, I thought this was like Airbnb, the sole purpose is to find a place to stay at. Little did I know that CS is more than what meets the eye. It is actually a place where you can hang or bond with different types of people and you can even join events organized by your fellow couchsurfers.
Anyway, I decided to sign up here because my brother and I are planning to go to LKF, Hong Kong on a Thursday towards the end of December. And since the parties here are going to end past midnight, I wasn't sure how we're going back to our hotel all the way to Tsuen Wan. So I figured why not check out CS for a place to stay at for just one night. Who knows? Maybe this will open the door for me to finally pursue my dream to travel the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm more into Pop Music but I am also very diverse when it comes to music -- probably depending on my mood. I am in loooove with rom-com movies. Whenever I have nothing to do, I always search for the top 100 ( not 10 because chances are I've probably seen the top 10) romantic-comedy movies. I don't do much reading but I've read a couple of teen chick flicks -- Okay, I know I'm not a teen anymore but you can never be too old to read those, right? Also, the first novel I've ever completed was the Harry Potter series... so there's that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably one of the most amazing things I have ever done was my Canyoneering adventure in Cebu. You're going to trek up and down and just take a leap of faith and jump from one high ground onto the river. If you haven't tried it, look it up! It's a must!
