ABOUT ME

Well, my name is Danielle and I am 24 years old. I had only been to Pennsylvania and two neighboring states until I was 18. Then I went to a few more but it was not until I randomly decided to move to Australia for a year that both my travel bug and my travel fear began. But after returning to the states and digesting my year abroad, the fear is fast diminishing leaving only the desire to wear the soles of my shoes thin. I want to go every where I want to learn about everywhere. My boyfriend has taught me so much about truly integrating into a culture, first when we were dating in Australia and now that he is here. I got to experience integration first hand myself and have learned the do's and don'ts of helping someone else integrate into your own culture. I have no specific life plans other than to travel as much as I am humanly able. :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to this whole idea. But I'd like to jump in with both feet. Our (my and my boyfriends - username:avagoyamug)couch is definitely for grabs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just heard about this site from a friend I met travelling who I have since lost contact with because we never got around to exchanging email addys even though we knew each other for 4 months. Pure laziness I say. Hopefully I'll find you somewhere Gabby!

兴趣

Oi! Lots of small things with a few broad strokes. Hmm... volleyball, skiing, learning how to cook, hiking, art, music, reading for fun, conversations with anyone anywhere about anythin, and of course the one we all have in common: travel. It is my life's only goal. I am fascinated by the concept of culture.
