I’m originally from Dallas, Texas but am living in Paris, France during my studies. I am majoring in Environmental Science and Fine Arts in hopes to help save the environment from the epoch of the anthropocene. I love music, skateboarding, eating good vegan food, reading, podcasts, and traveling. I make art such as painting, drawing, and photography in my free time but wish I had more free time to make enough art to cover the entirety of my room haha. I love mountains, forests, and the ocean and wish I lived in a city full of nature so that I could hike, camp, and backpack in, but hey thats what traveling is for:)

I think the concept of couchsurfing is absolutely wonderful. It really allows you to meet locals and learn more about the place that you are staying at. You can make friends and exchange language, food, music, experiences, and stories with people from all over, making your life, and their life just a bit richer:)

I love all genres of music such as indie, jazz, classical, house, r&b, and salsa to name a few. I love independent films but also films like Her, Submarine, It, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Soloist,
SkateKitchen, Boyhood, and the Dead Poets Society. I love the books Why I Am No Longer Talking to White People About Race, Fahrenheit 451, Orlando, Waiting for Godot, Never Let Me Go, and many more.

I started the recycling and composting program at my university and had artwork up at the Dallas Museum of Art.

I am vegan so I can cook some vegan meals to eat with the hosts:) I can also skateboard so I could teach that as well. I would love to learn more about philosophy and the food and customs of all cultures. I love to share meals, music, and good conversation with any and all people.
