I've had a lot of friends use this site from all over the world and have had great experiences. I have lived in some great cities. Recently, I moved to Brooklyn and have an extra room. The place is safe and a couple blocks from a 24/7 subway system that gets into Manhattan in about 18 minutes. Separate room (sometimes used as a home office). Since I've been able to crash on others couches, it only makes sense to give back in return, obviously when not in used :)
