ABOUT ME

I am outgoing, direct and easy to talk to. I take things quite seriously in general and am a perfectionist, but not to the degree that it makes me boring I think... Normally I have clear what I want in life and am assertive (sometimes stubborn). At the same time I am also a hopelessly romantic person who can cry watching Grey´s Anatomy... My friends say that I am a loyal friend who you can really count on.

PHILOSOPHY

Be yourself, there are plenty of others.
Don´t follow the crowd, take a shortcut.
Common sense is not so common...

I would like to find some more peace in my life, as it looks like I am always busy or in a hurry to get somewhere. Meditation is not my thing, but I would like to find something else to pause stop sometimes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I joined CS I have met with several people who were visiting Madrid. It was totally different each time, but I've always said good bye with a positive feeling that gives me energy. CS gives me the opportunity to get to know people from places all over the world.

I also like the CS events that are organized in Madrid which is a nice way to meet people in your own city. Couch surfing really brings people together!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

If I see a movie it has to be in original version at least, because I just cannot stand those movies dubbed into Spanish, ir makes me fall asleep!

My music taste is impossible to describe; it goes from Irish songs, latin music, DJ Tiesto and soul to Massive Attack or reggae... I guess mostly anything except for heavy metal;)

I don't find the time to read at all lately...

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I think we go through many periods during our life. Allow yourself to learn and to forgive yourself for your mistakes, don´t get stuck in looking back, but just do things differently in the future. I think it´s important to permit yourself and others to change opinion. Experience makes us change our mind about things. Never say never!
