ABOUT ME

Aveline likes music, sometimes shouty, sometimes mellow, sometimes black, sometimes yellow. Aveline drinking beer and doing out of the ordinary things. Aveline likes reading books which transport her to beautiful places. Aveline likes being in the middle of nowhere with only a tent a stove and some noodles. Aveline loves festivals and meeting like minded people who care about the important stuff. Aveline wants to see the world. Aveline doesnt like corporations and wars. Aveline has a degree in psychology and teaching.

PHILOSOPHY

I want people to get along together. I love being alive. I do not want animals to die to satisfy our bellies.

I love meeting new people and travelling and seeing the world. I like the idea of seeing the cultures and communities first hand!

Interests

Hiking and camping, river swimming, going out for some drinks and some fun, festivals, including Werchter- (hope to go again this year, last year was amazing!), playing music, and going to hear it, whichever new hobbies take my fancy that particular month (I like to learn and do new things often!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Films - Independent international cinema, not blockbusters. Some of my favourites include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, This is England, Amelie, Into the wild(of course)..

Music is very important to me and the type of music I like varies hugely depending on how I am experiencing life that day .. includes sigur ros, explosions in the sky, tom waits, john martyn, tool, and loads more!

Books- I love books! Kerouac, Bukowski, dice man, Murakami, kundera, christian bobin, hunter s thompson, oliver sacks, irvine welsh, adams, herman hesse, huxley, Gavalda, Hayden, Garcia Marquez, Orwell and too many more to think of ... discovering new authors all the time

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling! Cities and Mountains, from hotels to hand made shelters, sleeper trains to damp tents and especially couches. I love travelling anywhere and everywhere.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have several musical intruments: inclusing a guitar, a djembe, a ukelele and a drum kit. We love little musical sessions, especially outdoors.

I would love to learn some cool poi moves and also sign language!
