About Me

The more I travel this country, the more I realize I know absolutely nothing about it.

I do a lot of hitchhiking and couchsurfing on my travels and have had some of the most rewarding connections with such diverse individuals that I am so thankful for!

I like keeping busy whether it involves maintenance/structural projects, housework, crafting, grunt work, artistic work. I love when I get to be that second set of hands that makes your project oh so much easier. THAT project.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We can exchange the wisdom(s) we have accumulated (I know you have 'em!)

I love creative expression in all it's various forms, music has gradually become a stronger love for me. I love it when I get to sing for individuals I have connected with and sing stories that others can see themselves in. Music has been a process of developing honesty for me.

I also enjoy learning any and all useful skills. This winter I stayed in Key West for two months shadowing a dear friend of mine who is a handywoman on a property there. I was getting to learn how to fix and install various equipment and it was never a dull day. This summer I will be taking a course in carpentry up in Vermont.

I've been "migrating with the birds" up and down the eastern seaboard for two years and will continue doing so. Northeast in the summer, southeast in the winter, and midatlantic in the spring and fall where my mother and a good chunk of friends live in Philly and Baltimore.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of folk music, but am opening up to the honest artists of many other genres. I'm learning how to jam with other musicians too which is a whole new approach to music and I feel I am starting over as a beginner which is both unnerving and exciting.

I read anything I can get my hands on, and usually go for various relevant nonfiction, dystopian fiction, poetry, spiritual fiction, fantasy, sci-fi etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am amazed at most things. You'll get to hear all sorts of stories.

Teach, Learn, Share

How I'd love to learn Spanish.....

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will tailor it to the specific host in question, I connect with anyone who is an open individual with capabilities of compassion.
