I’ve lived in three countries, countless cities, and somehow still get lost in the West Village. I’ve called New York home for the past five years—finance pays the bills from 9 to 5, but from 5 to 9, I deep-dive into psychology and lose myself in the rhythm of Latin dance (yes, I own multiple pairs of dancing shoes).

I grew up with three dogs and, more recently, lived with two cats who kind of ran the show—so yes, I'm very much an animal person. If it’s furry, feathery, or has a good personality, I’m into it.

Back in my Canada days, I couch-surfed my way through some amazing experiences.
Now that I’ve landed in a great spot in Midtown Manhattan, I’m excited to pay it forward. Whether it’s swapping stories, cultures, or favorite animal memes, I’m here to meet new people, make new friends, and maybe even convince you to try salsa. (Fair warning: it’s addictive.)

Since I'm back to this website after a long time, I'd highly prefer to start hosting on weekends, and then slowly move to longer duration stays.

Into reggaeton, salsa, bachata, and afro-beats music, and know places to enjoy music and dance around the city for these, and on the quieter days, I watch movies on my couch.

I’m always down to cook something together—as long as it’s easy and doesn’t involve setting off the fire alarm. If you can teach me a new skill, share something cool about your culture, or pass along a life-changing kitchen hack, I’m all ears (and taste buds).

In return, I come bearing NYC wisdom—hidden gems, budget-friendly hacks, and the occasional too-good-to-be-true deal that actually is true. Plus, with friends from all over the world, I just might be able to connect you with someone from your home country (or at least someone who can say “cheers” in your language).

The apartment building has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, and sauna which you can use (need my key). It also has a gaming section with a pool table if you're interested. If there is anything else in the apartment, just let me know before using it.

The only requirement is that you clean up after yourself, and don't make it too loud too late since neighbors will complain.
