ABOUT ME

I am a happy college student. I spend my summers sailing on the Lady Washington, backpacking, road tripping and generally goofing off. I've got no complaints about life, and I like to hang out with other people who don't complain. I got hooked on traveling the summer after I was in 5th grade and my family visited my aunt who was a teacher in South Africa. We saw elephants, lions, baboons, cheetahs, giraffes, and my aunt introduced us to so many of her friends that I felt like I met half the country's population. My favorite hobby is planning trips. If I don't have some kind of adventure brewing, I get antsy. In short, I live an idyllic life as a student in a cozy apartment in a great city with awesome friends, but I'd often much rather be out on the open road.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had I known about CouchSurfing a few years ago, I could have avoided many miserable nights sleeping in cars or bushes just to save a buck here and there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying over Greenland at 35,000 feet and the icebergs breaking off the ice shelf still looked HUGE.
