ABOUT ME

i literally grew up all over the world because of my dad's job - he was a pirate! Nah, he was a diplomat, so I have lived in almaty.. paris, belgrade, hong kong, and many more places. i've lived in san francisco since i was 13, but the travel bug has never left me and is stronger than ever!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i love the idea of opening up my home to other good souls and learning from others - we are all teachers and we are all students on this earth...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have, couchsurfed and crashed with kindred souls for years. in barcelona, i befriended a rumba guitar player, and he invited me to travel with his band to the border of france to perform with him... staying in tiny towns in catalonia with locals made my trip something special. i have also showed people visiting san francisco around my city - awesome folks from Ghana, India, Germany etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

last summer, I biked with my friends for two weeks from Portland, OR to San Francisco, CA (1000 km) camping along the pacific ocean! the most beautiful ride ever!

I also spent 5 weeks hiking in the Talkeetna mountains in Alaska! We had no contact with the outside world, and had food flown in by bush pilots who landed in the tundra! We saw grizzly bears and black bears, and were surrounded at one point by over 1000 migrating caribou! There's no place like Alaska....
