我做过的一件不可思议的事情

So, we decided to visit the Nanga Parbat basecamp—great idea, right? Except somewhere along the way, our "adventure" turned into a real-life survival documentary.

We lost the trail. Like, completely lost it. No signs, no people, just nature staring back at us like, "Good luck, geniuses." Our phones? Dead. Communication devices? None. Flashlights? Ha! Not even a torch app—our phones were practically paperweights at that point.

And then, it got dark. Not “dim evening light” dark—forest-so-dark-you-can’t-see-your-own-hand kind of dark. We were just wandering through trees, praying we weren’t walking in circles or toward a bear’s dinner plate.

No guides. No GPS. No touch light. Just pure panic with a sprinkle of optimism.

Miraculously—probably through sheer dumb luck—we stumbled back onto a trail. At that point, even the sight of a rock we thought we recognized felt like finding Wi-Fi in the wilderness.

When we finally made it back to the hotel, we looked like a bunch of tired mountain zombies, but hey—we survived, and now we’ve got a hilarious near-death story to tell. 10/10 would not recommend… but also, kinda worth it.
