About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To build a free online global classroom for sustainability education
ABOUT ME
As a child, I had an insatiable interest in nature. I wanted to trap everything so I could study and understand it. I also caught the entrepreneur bug early, which is evidenced by my unprecedented neighborhood cookie sale offer... Buy two cookies, get a free frog.
I did manage to grow up for a little while with a real job in San Francisco updating the state energy code. Then I went back to nature and found a permaculture farm in Bolinas, California where I was the resident natural builder. Then I became an Organic Valley farmer and grazer in Wisconsin. Now I'm a starving entrepreneur, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Some of the things that really intrigue me are shamans, caves, and effective communication. Things I know a lot about include WordPress website design, sustainability, and traveling the world using frequent flyer miles (even if you don't have miles).
Personality Type: INFJ
Favorite Hobby: Playing Sports!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that we're all much more similar than we are different, and life is more exciting when shared with passionate people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By offering good conversation and a friendly spirit. Oh, and always being ready for a game of pick-up.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have plenty of informal couch surfing experiences from hitchhiking through Canada, but nothing through this site. Perhaps my most memorable experience was being picked up in British Columbia by a young woman who took us back to her trailer, fed us, and gave up her bed for me! I tried to protest, but she wasn't having it.
