I cherish moments that feel simple and genuine. What I long for is presence, shared from a place of honesty and calm.

I travel to stay curious, to meet people beyond roles and expectations, and to share a bit of life together, even if it’s just over a cup of chamomile or mint tea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I don’t just want to visit places, I want to meet people.

Couchsurfing gives me the chance to live small, real moments with others. Not performances, not roles, just human connection. I don’t expect anything in particular, and I’m happy when a short exchange becomes a shared memory.

I like the idea that someone opens their door simply because we’re both human.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m moved by music that helps me feel connected, to myself, to others, or to something bigger. I often return to certain voices or harmonies that make me feel a sense of belonging.

When it comes to movies, I love romantic comedies and meaningful stories that make me think or smile, without adding unnecessary drama (life already has enough of that).

I don’t read much for pleasure, since most of my reading is for my PhD. But sometimes, a single sentence stays with me for days when it truly resonates.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a junior, I had the chance to represent Canada at the Mountain Bike World Championships. It was a moment that taught me courage, focus, and the joy of pushing my limits surrounded by nature.
