ABOUT ME

After a couple of years of traveling from coast to coast and abroad, we've decided to plant some roots in the quaint and beautiful town of Santa Cruz, California.

Here, he goes to school and she teaches Montessori, all while preparing to become parents this coming August!

Her: loves love. frozen yogurt. animals. music. thunderstorms. believer of Montessori. handmade. can’t consume enough fruit, passes on red meat. cheese. children. tea. hikes. thinks awesome people deserve high fives. fresh laundry. sleep. cameras/photographs. gardening. farmers markets. beach fires.

Him: bikes. coffee of any form. former engineer. oceanography. home brew. books... and more books. outdoors: be it camping, biking, running, swimming... all is enjoyed. traveling near and far. eco-minded. simple. less is more. old over new. appreciation for the arts.

We: met in 8th grade, married in July 2010, Texas Tech graduates, best friends, adore our families, camping, picnics, old movies, lovers of dogs, no tv please, travel near and far, like the warmth of a late night bon fire, fans of the performing arts, prefer self propelling transportation, anything 'used' is ideal, enjoy the company of those old and new.

We've done more surfing than hosting but thus far, all experiences have been a complete delight. We've been lucky to meet some wonderful people and create some of our best memories.
