A wanderlusty, hilarious (sometimes intentionally!), inquisitive, harmless, adventurous, nerdy, vegetarian, puzzling young lass in brooklyn who is really quite jazzed about meeting new people and sharing this grande ole planet through story and community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been surfing and hosting for years but only recently have become "official" on CS. Very excited!!

Interests

General love for good music/film/food/cause/conversation/outdoor activity/humor/atmosphere.
Fascination for all things historical, cyclable, antiquarian, literary, debatable, natural, palatable, colorful, laughable, climbable, robotic, non-profitable, cultural, danceable, mind-bendable, cheeky.
I also dig tree sloths.

- animal collective, fiery furnaces, simian mobile disco, femi kuti, erykah badu, janelle monae, matt+kim, black moth super rainbow, deerhunter, dan deacon, ted leo and the pharmacists, bela fleck, the black keys, m.ward, ojos de brujo, mgmt, tv on the radio, black lips, grizzly bear, the savage detectives, the innocents abroad, edificio master, man on wire, the crying of lot 49, the hurt locker, etc etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

rode an elephant in jaipur, made friends with mt. fuji, became a temporary BsAs local, helped build a home in Vera Cruz, got pulled up on stage during a flamenco concert (not a flamenco dancer), worked in a tea factory in ooty. among other things

Teach, Learn, Share

I LOVE to learn. Be it about languages, cultures, folklore, poisonous plants, jousting....i'm content putting just about any new information into my brain.
I've taught my little brother how to ride a bike, my grandma how to play baseball, and my friend how to be a vegetarian glutton.
