COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived for 2 years in Chile city called Iquique. It's an amazing place (beach, history, people, etc) but is also smack in the middle of the Atacama desert and therefore isolate. Couch-surfing, for me, was a great way to meet new people and stay connected with the world.

I love more books, movies and music more then could ever be described but hear goes: I like classic rock (the Stones, the Kinks, and The Talking Heads among others), books that involve traveling to exotic places or take place during exciting times or events (the Godfather, books by Bill Bryson/Twain/Murakami/George RR Martin, and any type of history or travel book), and any movie I can get my hands on (old/new, fiction/documentary, Foreign/domestic, Indie/Hollywood, drama/comedy, action/romance I love them all!)

Lived in northern Chile for 2 years and backpacked 4 6 months afterward. Also, various other travels but nothing quite as adventurous.
