Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went to a new members meeting in Antwerp & really enjoyed myself, I met a lot of interesting people & I'm looking forward to more CS-activities. A great way to practice my foreign languages.
I would really like to host someone this summer & maybe organize my own CS-activity in Antwerp.
Once I have saved enough money, I intend to surf some couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've heard a lot of great stories from friends, but for the moment I have no experience hosting or surfing.

Interests

I like to explore, learn new things. I'm currently learning Spanish so I'll be able to explore Spain and South-America.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movietopics I really love are: history, war, adventure, romance, mystery, thrillers.
Band of Brothers is my alltime favourite series.
Braveheart, The Patriot, l'Auberge espagnole are some of my favourite films.
Music I enjoy the most: classical, jazz, pop, rock. Some of my favourite artists: U2, Coldplay, Jamie Cullum, Buena Vista Social Club, Shakira, Selah Sue.
I'm not a big reader. I read basic foreign language books to expand my vocabulary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was amazed by the Samariagorge in Crete, the Scottish Highlands, the Alps in France & Austria.
As an exchange-student in Glasgow I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

teach : Anyone just starting out on the guitar can surely count on my help finding chords, interesting musicwebsites, etc ; I know some fun things about my city & would love to show some surfers around in Antwerp.

Learn: It would be great to pick up some words in different languages, learn to cook some foreign dishes, experience typical music in other countries, explore...
