Hi there !

I am Axelle, a French girl currently studying chemical engineering in Toulouse, south of France.
I love to travel, especially with a backpack and taking trains :)
I’ve recently traveled to Stavanger, Norway and around Italy.
I also lived for a few months in Oslo, Norway, completing an Erasmus semester 4 years ago.

I’m now planning to visit Europe with a friend, Laura, who is 23 and also a student, in civil and urban engineering. She lived in Argentina for a few months 3 years ago and is fluent in Spanish !
We are planning an Interrail trip to go to Switzerland, then Germany, Slovenia and Austria during the next month.

A particularity about us : we are semi-professional dancers ! We met a few years ago in a student organization of our school that gathers artists in order to make a caritative show for Les Restos du Cœur, a well-known charity in France. We actually had the opportunity to choreograph the show, and to perform in some events with our little dance crew ;)

We love to hike and discover new things, but also to meet new people and discuss all sorts of topics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are slow travellers : we only take eco-friendly means of transportation and we are as much interested in people and culture than in places and landscapes. Therefore, we think that staying with local people is part of the journey !
