Hey there!
I’m Aya, a Lebanese born in the States currently living in Germany.

I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures and listening to their stories, and, as I have a thing for languages, I usually try to learn a few words in their language too.

Recently, spontaneity has been working quite well for me, so I usually like to plan a day and time to meet up and sort of see and decide in the moment or on the day, what we’re up for, but that’s is not to say that I wouldn’t be open to planing anything concrete in advance, of course.
I try to make the best of the moment and laugh at myself and life when things don’t go as planned (which is usually like 90% of the time 😋).

I am currently a spiritual life coach in training, and so when I’m not on vacation, I’m usually doing some sort of personal growth and healing work.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met up with some surfers visiting Lebanon back when I was living there, and it has been very interesting and enjoyable, and later have met some wonderful people in Germany with whom I am still friends with today.

Interests

I'm interested in traveling, personal growth and self-healing, mindfulness, and meeting people and sharing stories.

Hobbies:
Singing, dancing (Salsa & Bachata as well), listening to good music, spending time in nature- both sea and mountains-, going on adventures… Getting to know and connecting with people from all over the world and enjoying deep conversations. I also enjoy going out with friends just as much as I enjoy staying in, cooking a nice meal together over a glass of wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a very wide range of music, a little bit of everything really, though two genres that stand out: Latin music and Jazz; as I like to say: Latin music makes me feel alive and jazz soothes my soul.

As for the movies, drama,comedy, feel good, romance and action films are the ones I mostly like.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you German, English, and some French. I can cook some really nice Lebanese dishes.
