Enjoy being alive!

ABOUT ME

To talk about myself is a very difficult topic!

I am someone who has no strong feeling of belongingness to some place but to this world! So, I believe everybody can be a part of everywhere.

I studied psychology and I try to learn about cultures and people as much as I can!

I am a member of an international student organization called AEGEE, which aims to gather together young people around Europe!

I am open-minded and culturally tolerant and I worked for promotion of human rights in my organization.

Recently, I finished my thesis about deaf children's social and cognitive development. Also, I worked for institutionalized children in Turkey in a project.

I plan to work more for NGO's , especially for children in need in the future or purchase an academic career, or both! If you know what I mean when I say NGO's, I appreciate that :)

Moreover, I am into ecology recently, learning a lot cool stuff about environment. I experiment on going vegetarian (or even vegan) but I need time.
I am an author in an environmental magazine called "Gaia" in Turkey and I mainly write about children, environment and nature.

Oh, also, all different, all equal!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a religion-free world.

This earth is home for everyone. I belong to the Earth.

I believe change is always possible for this planet with good will.

Personally I have a self promise to volunteer to change the things that harms humanity.

I live my life to understand people and children especially and to help them.

Nowadays, I have a lot of ideas for deaf children. I am considering to find to create projects for the deaf children.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I am interested in volunteerism I support CS project by trying to help travellers in the cities where I live at that time they travel.

I stayed in Germany, Austria, Greece, Poland...etc :) So many stories!

I am interested in music, poetry, photography, painting, travelling, flamenco dance and everything that is fun to me!!!

Also I am interested in movies, especially fictions.

I am interested in learning languages, including sign languages.

音乐、电影和书籍

It is very difficult and meaningless to write all of the movies and books here.. It's better to talk about them when together with people with the same taste.

Nevertheless, I will give some examples just to give some idea :)

I like movies which are animations and fictions. My bests are Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. In a different category I might say, Amelie, La vie en rose and Jeux D'enfants. Cliché but true, Tim Burton, I 'd like to follow his work. Also, Spirited Away, Howling Castle and similar pieces work I love.

Other than that, Game of Thrones I'd really not sleep for days to watch it.

I listen to any kind of music when it is made with emotions and effort. I also like to feel cultural differences when I listen a piece. So, we may say I like ethnic music.

I read a lot of books but mostly about psychology, underground and novels.

A lot of amazing things if you ask me!

Meeting amazing people, seeing new cities,running under the heavy rain and biking as well when singing crazily, hitchhiking from Warsaw to İstanbul...etc!
This list goes like this. Every single thing can be amazing for me!

教，学，和分享

I believe that I can teach about my city, history and culture,including food( which is a very important aspect for me) and also learn the same!

I can teach how to belly dance :), a little bit Turkish Sign Language, and Turkish spoken language. I can talk about children, for long hours:) I can talk about my student organization,AEGEE, European Student's Forum --trust me you will be really glad to learn about AEGEE!-
-(it is a youth NGO, nested all around Europe) and my experiences there.

I can share good pieces of Turkish music, I believe.

And I can teach flamenco! (at an intermediate level :)
