About Me

I'm a fairly stereotypical midwest transplant to the west coast, except I don't code and I don't work at a startup. I moved to Montana for a couple years and decided to just finish going west and landed in "The City".

I like going to concerts, climbing stuff, comics, movies, pretty normal things, really.

I'm a pretty easy-going guy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been around Couchsurfing on and off for almost 10 years. I find it's the best way to travel as 90% of the time you'll dodge all the tourist stuff and get to the heart of a place and almost always meet some dope people along the way

I've couch surfed across the western US and in Eastern Europe and France. They have been some of my best traveling experiences.

I wish I could host more, but I've already got three roommates in a teeny tiny house :(

But, I'm always up for showing CSers around the city. I'm pretty good at brewery hopping.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: Lots, and loud

movies: too many to list

books: sci-fi, fantasy, fiction. I'm not much for "classics"

comics: yes, please

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My summer in europe was probably the most amazing experience i've ever had. I saw so much and am very grateful for everyone who helped me get there.

Teach, Learn, Share

i have an extensive collection of movies and music on my computer and i like to swap stuff with whoever i surf with and vice-versa. I'm also willing to donate the occasional paperback to the surfer who's hard up for reading material.

I can also teach you to juggle.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, good meals and tasty beers. And anything you might need from SF.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Honduras, Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
