Overview
About Me
I have finished high school in June this year and have been volunteering at a school in the Wairarapa in New Zealand since July. Since we have a school break right now I want to use my free time and travel around a bit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have couchsurfed with my friend three times now and I really enjoyed exploring our host’s hometown with their recommendations but also the great talks we had together. I like most that I was able to meet people that I wouldn’t have had the chance to meet otherwise.
PS:I’m new to Couchsurfing so I don’t have any references yet
Interests
I love a good conversation (like most people), and enjoy listening to other people‘s life experiences. Seriously, having conversations about life is like reading a book for me. I get to learn about other life situations, possibilities and views. If we have a chat together and you’re older than me, there’s a 99% chance I’ll ask you what your advise of life is.
I also enjoy reading, lately I read more books on self improvement, since I believe one never quits to learn new things about themself.
I started making a habit of going to the art museums and botanical gardens in the Cities I visited since I don’t have the chance to really paint or draw while I’m on a trip.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to music based on my mood, so I don’t have certain preferences
Haven’t watched a movie in almost half a year but one I do remember enjoying, is Ocean’s eight (I’m no thief tho, promise🤞)
I grew up with watching Turkish drama series, so I still watch them
Favorite authors: Paulo Coelho and Benedict Wells
Book I’m reading currently: Can’t hurt me by David Goggins
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Whenever I’ve met people in a random setting and had a great talk to them.
-Since I volunteer at a girls school I really enjoy spending time with my students and being able to support them. They have the same worries I had, when I was their age, and it feels damn good to just help these girls build their confidence. I don’t think I was able to impact someone else’s life as much before as in my time at this school.
-NYE in Sydney
- (mostly) overcoming my fear of heights
