About Me
Hi there! My names Ayla I'm an American originally from New York, but currently living in Spain working as an English Teacher in a Spanish high school.
I also work as a tour guide in Madrid {WithLocals} - getting to meet people from all over the world and sharing my love for my current city is one of my favorite jobs I've ever had!
When I'm not working I love to spend my time dancing salsa, playing soccer, traveling to new places, watching TedTalks, exercising, reading books, and going hiking (really anything outdoors.) Ohh and food ~ anything and everything revolved around food is always a good time!
So probably similarly to you, I absolutely love to travel, meet new people, explore new cities, and try new foods :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music except really heavy metal.
I love books I'll read anything. Some of my favorite books is To Kill A Mockingbird, Start With Why, and The Alchemist.
To be honest I don't watch a ton of movies... apart from I can binge Harry Potter anyway of the week.. I usually prefer to spend my time reading or being outside. I don't have Netflix (gasp.. I know!) But, back to movies - I am a huge fan of anything comedy though!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
~ Skydiving in O'ahu Hawaii on the North Shore and it was probably one of the craziest feeling ever and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
~ Completing the Madrid Half Marathon in 2018!
