About Me

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, and right now I have a decent inheritance to live and travel on, so while I'm young I'd like to adventure some ^.^

I'm a free spirit, I'd rather see something new than buy something new, spend an evening having deep conversations rather than going out clubbing, I do my best to be non-judgemental, and I'd like to do what I can to increase joy in the world.

Specific things-
I'm a smoker (and have absolutely no problem taking it out of the house/area), LBGTQIA supporter, Pagan, walking around barefoot is how I live.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read tons of fantasy and a decent amount of sci-fi, and there are too many good authors I've encountered to list them all (though I'll read anything by Mercedes Lackey, Terry Prachett, or Simon R. Green).

I love powerful, epic, uplifting music (like symphonic metal and trailer music), as well as more oddball genres (celtic, filk and folk, techno) when the mood strikes me, but I'm okay with any type of music.

I'm not too much of a movie buff (viewing movies as a social activity), but I love anything done by Joss Whedon and I'm always up for a random horror flick ^.^ (just please, no comedy that's about "let's laugh at the poor bastard being awkward!" ala Adam Sanders, because that is painful to watch).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've talked a couple people out of committing suicide.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I cook a few foods very well (marinara sauce, quesidillas, apple pie, peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, chili), and am always up for experimentation.

Learn: Anything!

Share: Bounce ideas off me, talk tattoos, have me beta read or critique your novel or artwork, share philosophies on life...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help pay for groceries, bills and such, and help with the housework (anything except vacuuming).

I can stay as out of or in your hair as you like (and when you want some space I have no problem taking very long walks).

Need a sympathetic ear? Life advice? Tips for how to deal with shit? Ask and I'm your person. I'm always willing to hear about people's lives and I do my best to be non-judgemental.
