About Me

I am a 21-year-old medicine school student. I am traveling for last 4 years. Traveling is one of the few things which makes me feel more and more exhausted every single time. I am always trying to explore more. I study in Trabzon and live in Ankara. I am a back-packer who saw many cities from Turkey and abroad, I still have so much way to take.
You can also visit my instagram and youtube page where I share posts about my travels: @tekgidislikbilet

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet with local people because i know that the best way to know about a city is meeting locals. I know there are so much to discover in the world and the Couchsurfing is a miracle which makes this so much easier and fun. I created my account three years ago but couldn’t use because of the pandemic. I started to use this in July, 2022.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen every kind of music but my favorite singers and groups are: Teoman, Manga, Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz, Can Bonomo. I also love to listen 80’s Turkish pop songs.
My favorite movie of all time is Inception and my favorite series is Sherlock.
I love to read books especially on sci-fi, but I read any kind of books. I also love writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a travel with my friends in pandemic to Ukraine and traveled from Kiev to Lviv with a local train at night. All people were locals and it was hard to communicate, also the train was very old and it was hard to breath inside at middle of July but it was the best memory I’ve had despite all the difficulties.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine
