About Me
Passionate about lifelong learning and driven by an insatiable curiosity about the world and the human experience.
For me, travel is not simply about moving across borders — it's about expanding the mind, connecting with others, and growing through meaningful encounters.
I'm deeply interested in philosophy, human nature, and the psychology of thought and behavior. I value open dialogue, reflective thinking, and the kind of insight that only real human connection can spark.
One quote that has profoundly stayed with me is the inscription on Immanuel Kant’s tombstone. I first came across it in Turkish, but during a Couchsurfing experience, a fellow traveler — who happened to be a German teacher — shared the original German version with me. That exchange turned something I already valued into something deeply personal:
„Zwei Dinge erfüllen das Gemüt mit immer neuer und zunehmender Bewunderung und Ehrfurcht, je öfter und anhaltender sich das Nachdenken damit beschäftigt:
Der bestirnte Himmel über mir, und das moralische Gesetz in mir."
("Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe... the starry sky above me and the moral law within me.")
Currently based in Turkey, always seeking fresh perspectives, deeper understanding, and authentic connections wherever life leads
