My name is Ayumi. I am from Kyoto, Japan. I am a freelance teacher and translator. I also do some traditional modeling jobs sometimes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm afraid that I don't update information of my introduction page quite often. So it is still on the process of editing.
I am still learning nicer ways to communicate with other couch surfers on this CF online networks and in person. :-)

I am sorry when I can't reply to your messages or couch requests immediately. Sometimes I just can't check messages constantly.

I like to meet cool couch surfers, share our experiences, and help couch surfers traveling across Kyoto have great experiences here.

I would like to visit and meet couch surfers around the world and have great time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few travelers at my house in Kyoto. I had good time having teas or drinks with some nice surfers sometimes in my city. I enjoyed showing travelers around best spots of the city,too.

I stayed with couch surfers in Japan, in the US, in Europe. All the hosts were very nice people. I met a lot of amazing hosts and travelers in past.

I enjoy meeting people to learn and exchange from each other.
I also enjoy my time walking around historical places, rivers with trees, watching movies, or reading books.
I like dancing salsa and practicing tango, too.
when i have free time myself, i like walking in the city for window shopping and sometimes for real shopping.

I don't come up with any extraordinary things happened in my life. But I feel what is amazing the best is I am living now and I have good friends around me always.

I can share/help you learn beautiful Japanese, Japanese culture, dancing salsa, travel tips in Japan, especially in Kyoto.
I can cook some Japanese dishes, too. Sometimes I am asked to teach how to fall Origami things. So I often have some origamis in my bag when i travel. If you are interested in Origami things, we can fall something together. It's fun.

I'm always interested in different culture and different ways of looking at what I look at.
I'd like to learn Spanish and English. So it will be great if we can exchange them with Japanese.
I am practicing tango currently, so I am looking for any opportunity of joining a dance lesson in Rome and in Barcelona.
