Overview
About Me
I have a background in social work, youth engagement, and multicultural assistance, working with immigrants, asylum seekers, and diverse communities. My passion lies in integration, mental health support, and community-building, and I love connecting with people from different backgrounds.
I am an open-minded, friendly, and curious person who enjoys meaningful discussions about life, culture, and the world around us. I value trust, authenticity, and kindness, and I always try to bring a positive spirit wherever I go. While I might appear serious at first, I have a playful side that enjoys adventures, laughter, and spontaneous moments.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel not just to see new places, but to experience new souls.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of sharing spaces, cultures, and experiences with like-minded people. For me, travel is about human connections, not just places, and I find joy in meeting locals, exchanging stories, and discovering new perspectives. Whether it’s over a cup of green tea and good music or exploring a new place together, I appreciate genuine connections and new friendships.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a few people through Couchsurfing, and it was always a fascinating and enriching experience. However, when the site stopped being free after COVID, I gradually stopped using it. But I never stopped welcoming friends and travelers through personal connections.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a deep appreciation for thought-provoking and emotionally powerful films. Some of my favorites include My Left Foot, Braveheart, Instinct, Cinema Paradiso, V for Vendetta, Turtles Can Fly, Yol, Chocolat, and The Legend of 1900. I also admire the works of Giuseppe Tornatore and Federico Fellini. Recently, I’ve become interested in Andrei Tarkovsky’s films and look forward to exploring his cinematic world.
When it comes to music, my taste is diverse and spans multiple genres and cultures. I enjoy classical music by composers like Tchaikovsky, Bach, Schumann, and Chopin, as well as pop and retro classics from ABBA, Bryan Adams, Boney M, and Demis Roussos. I have a deep appreciation for oriental and folk music, especially artists like Marcel Khalife, Fairouz, Shajarian, and Ahmet Kaya. In addition, I love world music, including new age, chillout music, and traditional Indian, Persian, Turkish, Arabic, and Kurdish melodies.
