About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To take a leap of faith every day.

ABOUT ME

Born in Mexico, raised in Minnesota, USA. Formally educated in Colorado, USA and Seoul, South Korea, and currently reside in Groningen, Netherlands. I'm obsessed with travel, food, yoga, reading, and people watching. I love getting to know new people from different cultures and backgrounds!

PHILOSOPHY

Always take the leap of faith.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to get to know more people in Groningen and neighboring European countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to Couchsurfing this summer when I traveled with a friend to Colombia and Costa Rica. We were able to enjoy the area as locals and get to know the cities so much better than if we had not used this amazing community.

Interests

Writing, reading, traveling, cultural food tasting, yoga, meditation, hiking, camping, exploring, coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. I love meeting new people and talking all about this amazing world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The world from 13,000 feet high - sky diving over the Rockies in Denver, Colorado. It was both the most terrifying and the most exhilarating thing I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share my enthusiasm for yoga, meditation and breathing exercises as a yoga instructor. Any helpful tips I can offer on the countries that I've visited or lived in. Thoughts on higher education, biracial family experience, cross cultural dating, fictional writing exercises, knitting, the finer elements of tea and coffee, cross cultural work environments, and encouragement in leaps of faith.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antigua and Barbuda, Cayman Islands, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Malaysia, Morocco, Panama, Puerto Rico, Saint Lucia, Singapore

Countries I’ve Lived In

Mexico, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, United States
