ABOUT ME

I come from a very strong family background. At a very young age my siblings and I learned that after God, family comes first and foremost, including all of my cousins and extended family. My best friends are my siblings and cousins, we have grown up together, sharing our imaginations, happiness and punishments.

As a college undergrad I intensely studied the sciences, but currently I would like to focus my energy in understanding and learning about our global environment and our need for sustainability, public health care policies, education and outreach.

PHILOSOPHY

Old people. I truly love listening and spending time with my grandparents and other elders in the community. There is something within them, a peace, a wisdom, an eternal joy that rests below their leathery wrinkles, and I want to tap into that and hear their stories of happiness and horror. I want to sit there smiling, listening intently.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just recently graduated from college and I am excited to travel and learn about other countries and their cultures. I will be in Europe for June and July and am intrigued by the opportunity to travel in an intimate and real interaction w/ the countries' peoples. I have heard great stories about couch surfing and I hope that I can play a role in this Project and listen to what native people stand for and believe in.
