Im a final year student at the University of Manchester UK, currently pursuing a finance-related degree 📝📚📉 I love nature, reading, coffee and super super addicted to travelling and getting on new adventures!!!

I am a very open-minded girl and I am always down to try out new things and I feel that its one of the best way to learn and to grow as a person;) I started solo-travelling since I was 20yrs old and it has been mostly around Europe(keen to explore more parts of the world!!) I’ve always been quite adventurous and independent. I went to boarding school 2/3 of my student’s life and now im studying abroad 10000km away from home(i get super homesick every now and then though), but these experiences are golden to me as they really shaped who I am as a person today💕

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to couchsurfing, I’ve never try anything like this before. Previously I’ve always been backpacking and staying at hostels and make friends with other backpackers there. I heard of couchsurfing from few of my friends and so here I am, excited to give this a go! I am superb intrigued by the idea of it! I love the idea of meeting and making new friends from all over the world and exchanging knowledge about each other’s culture, heritage and languages, especially with a local who is just as enthusiastic as I am about it!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to pop songs on the mainstream radio but I love to explore a wider range of music genre if anyone could suggest to me any good ones😉 My go-to movies usually are either rom-com or ghost-related horror movies. They are the absolute best ones! I also like to read as much as I can. My current read is ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played for Team Malaysian 🇲🇾 at the 2018 Quidditch World Cup in Florence, Italy!! Yes, you read that right, I play quidditch(yes yes the one from Harry Potter 🧙🏻‍♀️) and i play it with awesomeness 😎 Hahaha but really, I do play competitive quidditch and its awesome!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I spent my whole growing up in a country at the South-east Asia region, so I have an adequate amount of knowledge about that side of the world that I would be more than happy to share it with the host:) I am very excited when sharing and talking about culture, history and food! Oh I am a very good cook when it comes to making Malaysian delicacies😉 I am also lucky enough to have travelled to almost 20+ countries so far and I am very happy to share my stories with you about them<3 I hope to making new friends and to build a long-lasting relationships if its mutual! And if you’re ever coming to place where I am staying, I’d be more than glad to show you around and take you to the good food places!!
