Hi everyone!! This is Azin and Giuliano, a young multicultural couple eager to travel and meet new people. We are passionate about language learning and are both currently studying and living in Italy.

This is Azin: born and raised in Shiraz, Iran; currently in Italy to get a breath of fresh air, chase my dream of travelling the world and dive into new cultures and places. I'm adventurous and I love cooking, baking, singing and sharing a piece of persian culture with others. I also do pet-sitting on the side, mostly taking care of cats🐱

This is Giuliano: born and raised in Turin, Italy; now studying languages at uni and teaching English to middleschoolers. I love cooking for others just as much as I love trying new food :'). My interests are videomaking, sustainability and travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to experience true cultural exchange, meet new people and see places through a different lense.

We believe in community and we want to be able to create genuine connections with people around the world, hear their stories, their hardships and accomplishments. We love being, even if only for a limited time, part of someone else's life and manage to grow from experiencing such real relationships.

Not to mention, we both enjoy sharing our country through food so this is another excuse to be behind the stove preparing Italian, Persian and other culture's amazing dishes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Azin - I listen to Kpop, Shervin Hajipour, Ed Sheeran, 1D, Imagine Dragons, Isak Danielson, Maneskin, Marjan Farsad, Ye Banished Privateers and anything melancholic and mellow. I like watching reality shows, romantic and comedic Kdramas, thrillers and mysteries. Friends and Death Note are my favorite shows.

Giuliano - I mainly listen to folk and powermetal, but anything that sounds cool enough is accepted: Alestorm, Ye Banished Privateers, The Dreadnoughts, grandson, Tyler the creator, Shervin Hajipour, Isak Danielson, Powerwolf. I love Studio Ghibli movies and my favorite series of all time is Avatar: the last airbender.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Azin has left her homecountry to pursue her future elsewhere around the world🛫🗺 and Giuliano is trying to find his spot in the world through editing end content creation :P

Once we spent the whole day trying every single stall in Amsterdam's street food alley instead of actually visiting the city :')

Just in Italy we've visited around 40 churches and we want to keep visiting many more cool places of cult as we travel
