About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Teach natural building workshops and sustainable living techniques as I travel around on a vegetable powered school bus that is complete off grid.
ABOUT ME
Teacher by nature. Love to travel so I am trying to combine both with my company, Travel to Learn.
I'm very easy going and enjoy meeting people from other countries and learning about different cultures.
After two years on my own educational sabbatical I'm back to teaching and planning my next step.
Besides teaching, I currently run workshops on natural building, while working on a small cob structure.
I play guitar, harmonica, and sing. I ferment foods. I make Kombucha and a killer herbal coffee substitute!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently renting a room so I cannot offer a place to stay. I can offer my skills in the kitchen. I can play you some music. I can bring you some of my herbal coffee substitute.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have used couch surfing only a couple of times and it was great. I stayed with a cool guy in Berkely, whose family had been there for a long time. Their house looked like a rock and roll hall of fame with amazing pictures of musicians--of course the ones I liked so I enjoyed the stay tremendously.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped build a 5,000 sq. ft. US Forest Ranger Station with 1,000 straw bales as the wall structure. Not only was that experience pretty amazing, but I built it with a team of Buddhist monks!
Teach, Learn, Share
the more we know about each other, the less fear there will be in the world. racism is a fear of other cultures. we only have each other and we share the same things in life so we should learn as much as we can from our neighbors.
