兴趣

One of my main interests is neuroscience. I'm fascinated by the brain and how our minds and life experiences can arise from such a system. I'm also very interested in martial arts. In particular, I study aikido, a japanese martial art. I also practice yoga regularly and have been teaching myself to meditate. I love hiking and camping. I've recently made a commitment to see at least 2 new countries every year.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the coolest experiences of my life was when there was a bioluminescent bloom in the pacific ocean near where I used to live in Los Angeles. It was summer 2008. I was at the beach, and noticed that the tide line lit up with a bright blue-white fire whenever waves crashed. Me and my friends proceeded to splash around and make the glow surround us. Then we took out a boat and really made some waves!
