COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my traveling has been done as a WWOOFer (working on farms in exchange for room and board). Stayed in an abandoned village in Galicia and experienced real hunger for the first time in my life.

Interests

Anything food related. The best of hi and lo brow culture. Starry night skies and bonfires. Making things with my hands. Finding things. Sipping coffee and relaxing. Sunburns on the beach. Looking at pretty things. Subways and bicycles. Oh yeah, and books and libraries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Seven Samurai, anything zombie or apocalyptic, stoner comedy, documentaries about people like R. Crumb and Daniel Johnston, most any live music, I have a stack of cookbooks and some silly teenage novel in Spanish to read most days

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was having a picnic with my dad by the creek and we saw a tarantula wasp and a tarantula fight and then saw the wasp drag it away to lay its eggs in it. Cool!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot to share about food, could cook dinner if interested. Like gleaning and foraging. I try to bring some music or something else to show you.
