ABOUT ME

Young profesional man, discovering his first work after finish the university life. Seriuos at the very first impression but quite funny five minutes later.
Love travelling and learning from people coming outside, (specially their food and their way to cook !). Enthusiastic by history and archeological sites, besides my pasion for languages and cooking...

PHILOSOPHY

There are just two interminable things in the world, the Universe and human stupidity (A. Einstein)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can propose a clean, spacious and independent bedroom at my place in Mexico city. During the week it's a litle bit hard to take you for a ride, but at night could make you discover the mexican food and the great coffe at opened "terrazas". At weekend I could show you the most interesting places, not always the most touristics ones, at the country side of Mexico.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my PhD in Paris, it was very common to met and lodge a lot of people, specially students during their visit to the Light City. But the very first one, was with an Austrian girl, who introduce me to German language and starts the interest for her country and culture, besides the great relationship we keep until nowadays, where we still send us litle presents for our birthday or a postal card at any trip we made; thanks to her I know a litle bit of Barcelona, Mumbay and Thailand without leaving Mexico city, and viceversa, she knows a little bit of Buenos Aires, US and Norway, staying in Viena !

Interests

I really like to travel and met a lot of cultures so different from mine, but sharing with my work.

Books: Aztek (Gary Jennings), Tragicomedia Mexicana (Jose Agustin) and every kind of roman, krimi, history and or course, the entire collection of Gabriel Garcia Marquez !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe it's quite trivial, but one of the most amazing things in my life, was the first time I saw the snow !
Yeah, for the North America or Europe people it's quite normal, but for a guy from a country with an average temperature of 27 C/year, to touch and play with the snow it's a huge adventure

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I really like to take profit of foreigners to practice or even learn another language different from native. On the other hand, as a specialist in molecular biology, I'm not quite sure people would like to travel to take a science cathedra, but (and that's for sure), I can teach people how to survive to the cab's drivers in Mexico city !

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Monaco, Norway, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Germany, Mexico
