I've come to realize that I am the only one fully responsible for my own happiness. Others can contribute, positively or negatively, but it is up to me to make the final decisions.

I also need to stop procrastinating .. or seriously decrease it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am trying to take more baths (they're more relaxing). I like swap meets, scents (essential oils, etc), getting into a good hike. I like experimenting in the kitchen and using YouTube to learn how to do my own car repairs. I want to ride my motorcycle more, but I can only seem to find time on the weekends. I want to sit on my back porch and relax with either a nice glass of wine or a bit of very nice whiskey to sip ... and relax.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Super-newbie ... I've hosted twice so far. I am still a bit nervous about letting someone I don't know stay in my house. But a fun, changing, exciting, fulfilling life is all about stretching your boundaries ... right?

兴趣

A good hike. A good cant-put-it-down book. A decent bottle of wine (occasionally), a good (or bad!) pun. Seeing the sun rise (a cliche ... I know ... but I still like it). The rush after a good work out. A gathering of friends for chat & chill. Road trips. A good swap mart *grin*. Talking to my nieces & nephews. Not into dancing to club music ... I am more of a listener :)

Movies: Lost touch with movies over the last few years, but a couple that left an impression are 'Il Postino', 'Cinema Paradisio' (sp?), 'Eat Drink Man Woman'. Guilty pleasures are scifi/fantasy or action movies now and then.

Music: Jazz (ie Spyro Gyra), Blues (ie Stevie Ray Vaughn), Classical (ie Vivaldi, Mozart, ...), upbeat stuff for road trips & work outs.

Books: Anything well-written involving other-worldly fantasy (ie a bit of magic), non-tween/young-adult vampire/werewolf, mysteries/detective/dramas.

I'll give you three:
1) Standing in the center of the Roman Coliseum at ground level on the catwalk.
2) Jumping out of an airplane.
3) Standing in the center court yard in Vatican City
