About Me

CURRENT MISSION

looking for a place to relocate to in 2014.

ABOUT ME

friendly, smart, sardonic. very logical and very honest.

PHILOSOPHY

do no harm.
it is what it is.
what will be will be.
i, and only i ,control only my own actions/perceptions/feelings and then not always well....

and that my government has been taken over by wealthy interests and is hell bent on sucking all of the money out what is left of the american middle class.

Which is actually the reason i must find another home: not only is this happening, but no one here seems to care. I simply refuse to live the rest of my life around such passive morons....
no offense, patriots and religious zealots....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am working on my "50/50" list. fifty things i am doing before i turn fifty. the first accomplishment was a 150 ft rappel down the "chimney" of California's "Moaning Cavern". (located within a four drive)

Five years ago I worked as an construction inspector on the new San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. there should be a pic of me, "Bridge Hostess".

Teach, Learn, Share

lived 25 years in sacramento in over a dozen places: downtown, pocket area, carmichael, near CSUS. i am also knowledgeable about local real estate, having bought three houses in last 5 years! (not going to say how many i lost) :(

frugal shoppers: i also have expert knowledge of local "Goodwill" stores, where anyone can find quality new goods (clothing, textiles, linens, shoes and purses) at give-away prices! And I mean LITERALLY give-away prices: half the items are donated by american retailers who are too greedy to discount their prices to the american public and thereby, gasp, tarnish their "brand". The other half of the items may not be new, as they are second hand goods donated by american households, but think of the archeological insights!

AVID GARDENERS: I have beautiful gardens on my small lot and am very knowledgeable about plants.

INTELLIGENT, FRIENDLY TRAVELERS: that should have gotten everybody's attention, right? anywho, PLEASE, i want to hear what it is like in other countries, and which ones i may want to travel to.
