My mission is to transition from unemployed college dropout to employed college dropout.

ABOUT ME

There's not much to say. I'm a nice person, quiet, willing to just go along for the ride, and generally a pleasant person. I can cook, too. Ideally, I'd like to go somewhere that offers jobs in the extreme outdoor activities category, since those are definitely interests of mine.

The extended version. Normal, boring life. I went to college for 4.5 years, taking a variety of courses (business, biology, philosophy, psychology, history, education, political science). A waning interest and general lack of motivation led me to abandon my studies until such time that I find myself able to go to class and actually do all of the work.
Also, I'm gay. I don't see any reason for that to be an issue. Apparently, I don't "come across" as such, and I don't make a big deal out of it on account of having interests outside of being gay.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to do whatever I feel like doing, so long as I'm not hurting anyone else, and let others do the same. As for why I live my life... it's better than the alternative. And I've not had nearly enough fun.

Unfortunately, I have no couch to offer at the moment, as I may soon find it more pleasant to leave home than to stay here. I am, however, a rather skilled cook who's willing to prepare meals and do all of the cleaning.

I've been whitewater rafting, knocked out of the raft, and stuck under it long enough to start worrying.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm actually a pretty skilled cook, and can make a variety of dishes. I also know a thing or two about housework, so I'm not a total moocher and I actually have some practical skills to offer. As for esoteric knowledge, I'm interested in anything supernatural, familiar with all things memetic, and particularly knowledgable about pop culture, and more than willing to share any knowledge I have, practical or otherwise.
As for what I'd like to learn, I could definitely stand to learn about and finance and personal motivation. I'm pretty clueless about both.
