ABOUT ME

I'm 22, from Dublin, Ireland. I studied psychology in Trinity College, Dublin. After graduating I taught English in China for about ten months before traveling in South East Asia. I'm back in Ireland now.

If I had to describe myself I'd say I'm preternaturally lazy, so when I do get out of bed/off the couch I like to make the most of it by exploring new places and perhaps imbibing copious amounts of alcohol if the occasion calls for it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have a couch available for surfing. Hang out with people I meet on couchsurfing. Planning to surf some couches soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have stayed on a couple of couches. Have shown some surfers around Xiamen. Have attended some events set up by Xiamen couchsurfers group.

Intereses

I really enjoy reading. I mostly read books but also enjoy reading the warnings on cigarette packs and personal ads in local publications (particularly 'Ireland's Own).
I also like music. I often listen to it. I like a wide variety of styles, from hardcore punk rock all the way to regular punk rock.
The only sport I take any deep interest in is football. I support Fulham Football Club and have done ever since I first decided to.
I also like traveling and whatnot, you know seeing different things and shit?

Movies: I watch a lot of films. My favourites are 'The Royal Tenenbaums', 'Goodfellas' and 'The Apartment'.

Music: Mostly alternative stuff. Favourites include: 'The Gaslight Anthem', 'The Lawrence Arms', 'The Weakerthans', 'A Wilhelm Scream', 'Manchester Orchestra', 'Elliott Smith' and 'The Beatles'.

Books: Kurt Vonnegut, Charles Bukowski, Fyodor Dostoyevski, John Steinbeck, Salman Rushdie, George Orwell, Haruki Murakami and others, no time to list them all.
