Trying to make the best out of the moment and life and share it with others.

We are Franziska and Bastian-
Two cycling enthusiasts- actually based in Berlin for many years, then moved to Freiburg (south of Germany) for the last two years and now we are on our biggest adventure so far: on year of bikepacking around the the world- well, at least part of it.
We start our trip in New Zealand 02/2025 and continue to Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and try to cycle back home to Germany.

We founded a project called Ultranicecycling. We want to collect donations for different bicycle NGO‘s or smaller non-profit organisations we meet and visit during our journey.
We love to share our Privelige to cycle for so long and like to get to know people who invest their own time to help others.
And we just love to get to know people from all of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We share the same sky, you and I.

We are all connected, but mostly are so busy with our daily lives, that we forget to really get in touch and get connected to the people around us.

Couchsurfing is such a nice opportunity to get to know people you probably would never met and to get out of your bubble and comfortzone.
Being a host and being hosted is a pleasure.
