About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning to accept myself and others as we are in the moment and continue loving life, more and more each day. Am at the stage of manifesting a refreshing place to cleanse, heal and renew.

ABOUT ME

Others might describe me as kind, considerate, honest, forthright, impatient at times but mostly the best friend you could ask for...

I enjoy my own company and spend lots of time alone and also have periods time of major human contact. I give a lot to my friends and family so need time to recharge;however, not as much as i get, so thought since i enjoy meeting and talking story with new people this site seemed perfect.

PHILOSOPHY

My life is a tremendous gift from God and provides many humbling lessons to bring me back to the present moment, which is so rich.

I look at life as a game - it's not about who wins but rather how the game's played, how quickly can i bounce back, shift my attitude

I endeavor to make sure my words and actions are edifying and that my presence is a blessing. Tho admit given my fiery nature i am, with some, frequently asking for forgiveness...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Met some amazing people that connected via this site and shared all their individual wonderful experiences they have had in their travels.

When i am at one of my homes i will most always fully participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am very frugal and in my younger years was always finding a friends place to stay - to show the level of tolerance i had in my youth i share the worst place i ever stayed: on the TX coast at an apt where there were so many cats and feces all over the floor that i barely found a spot to put my pad and bag down. If i had arrived at a descent hour or been warned i would rather have slept in the park. Trust me at my age i have much higher standards and am glad couch surfing provides so many opportunities and varieties of situations for all ages. Looking forward to my first visit and hosting...

Interests

Meeting new people while i soak at the hot springs in town or ride the chair lift at Wolf Creek ski area or chatting between waves in Maui or where ever i might be...

learning new things - lately trading options, longevity, internet marketing....

I also enjoy playing and listening to the Native American flute, Hawaiian nose flute, Didgeridoo and Middle Eastern or African drums.

I spend a lot of my time in either Pagosa Springs, CO.; the Russian River area of N CA; Kaanapali, Maui; San Antonio, Texas or Grand Lake,CO unless i am serving with Women of the Harvest in some foreign country...

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many other thoughts going thru my mind that recalling names of movies, music and books is asking too much - i'm working on recalling people's name tho i don't forget a face and rarely a voice. If you are really interested ask cause i read a lot and listen to music, not so many movies.
Last movie was "Thrill" - very courageous and a film every human being needs to see

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The way the light was highlighting the contrast between the red rock of NM and the snow covered mountain peaks of S Colorado as i was driving home on 84...

The feel of the fresh cream snow as i am gliding down the mountain for the first time after a month of riding waves...

Looking up at the bright starry night as i soak in the hot springs and giving thanks for this sweet life i live...

Iquazu Falls, Machu Picchu, Cusco, Maui, northern CA so many places and so many to see...

Teach, Learn, Share

I have dealt with chronic muscular pain for all of my adult life and have done so naturally - have numerous tools to share on minimizing pain. Also have studied many forms of bodywork/massage. Also well versed in cleansing and eating healthy. So many areas i can assist others and learn from others, here's a quick flash: ski, bodyboarding, kayak, pottery on the wheel, cleansing, longevity, trading options, monetizing a website, numerous ways of making passive income...
I love to learn and you will find me curious so please don't take offense if my questions get intense - just means i'm really curious.
