ABOUT ME

In three words: adventurous, compassionate, optimistic. I love exploring and travelling the world which is why I have been to so many places since the start of my university days. I have been to the US for three months, currently on exchange in Finland and have visited places like Cambodia, Vietnam, Batam, Bali, Bangkok and the list goes on. I am compassionate when it comes to looking after the elderly and children, and I have to admit that I have a soft spot for both these age groups. And definitely, optimistic too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch-surfing experience was in Berlin. I was very fortunate to have landed myself a very hospitable host, together with her friendly flatmate. I would like to carry on both their spirit and passion with me and pass it on to other surfers and host.

I love sports. I involve myself in Softball over in high school and my college days and I love how the victory of a game depends on every single one on the team. I also enjoy extreme sports and I hope to be able to try skydiving and bungee jumping one day. I have tried out white water rafting over in Bali and parasailing in Batam. I have also hiked up several waterfalls in my 2 years while traveling. I thoroughly enjoy the view once I reach up there, not an easy climb, but worth the hike and sweat.

I love food. My interest in food only begun very recently while traveling. I am intrigued by the different types of cuisine that all the different countries I have visited has offered me. I love how the local dish of each country is an embodiment of their culture.

I love nature. I love soaking up the scenery in mountainous areas and I feel a great sense of satisfaction and peace when I am near a body of water. The calmness of the sea/lake puts my heart at rest.

I love watching How I Met Your Mother, my all time favourite. This I would say gotta be better than Friends. I love reading John Grisham for his thriller books, Paulo Coelho for his hidden meanings in between the lines and Jill Manson for her romantic chick flick books.

A double rainbow on my hike up to Krimmlr waterfalls over at ZellamSee, a small town off Salzburg. Hiked up Eagles Peak over at Seattle, Washington where I was able to see Saint Helens and another Volcano (which I can't remember the name). Tried hitch-hiking over in Finland and the US, great experience.
