We are Pauline and Isa, a French couple traveling in Australia, eager to meet people and share genuine moments along the way.
For us, Couchsurfing is not about free accommodation, but about human connection, shared experiences, laughter, and meaningful memories with the people who welcome us.
We are respectful, tidy, easygoing, and always happy to chat over a cup of tea, a meal, or a light conversation.

🌍 How we travel
We enjoy slow travel, taking the time to discover places, local habits, and especially the people.
Pauline is on a Working Holiday Visa and is discovering Australia for the first time.
This is Isa’s third time in Australia. During her previous trips, she had the chance to experience Couchsurfing in different parts of the country and abroad.
She spent some weeks with Adele in Western Australia, one week with Chris near Darwin, and shared wonderful days with Claire and Donna near Sydney.
She also had a great Couchsurfing experience in Montréal, Canada, with Todd and Elias.
These experiences taught her how important respect, trust, and sharing are in this community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We’re on Couchsurfing because it allows us to meet people we would never have had the chance to meet, to practice the language, and to share meaningful and sometimes unusual moments.

Interests

We love sports — especially climbing, running, swimming, and biking. We enjoy music, sharing a good drink and we believe food is sacred. But our favorite passion of all is discovering new places and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, books, and movies, Pauline and I have quite different tastes. Isa enjoys auteur and classic films (and honestly a bit of everything), while Pauline really dislikes horror movies and loves anything that makes her laugh. We’re not big readers, but we both absolutely love theatre. We also adore music and enjoy singing in the shower, in the car, or even at karaoke.

We find the extraordinary in many of our adventures and experiences because we never stay in our comfort zone and always try to make the most of every moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

We love learning about languages and cultures, sharing good moments, and we’d be happy to share some French and a few traditional dishes from our grandmothers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love sharing our culture and experiences. We can cook traditional French dishes and share a bit of the language. We adore animals and are happy to take care of them, play with them, and give them all the attention they need.

We enjoy music — singing in the shower, in the car, or even at karaoke — and we love spending time outdoors, running, climbing, or exploring new places. We would be thrilled to share these moments together with our hosts and enjoy them as a group.

We’re also happy to help around the house if needed, or simply share laughs and memorable experiences.
