PHILOSOPHY

I have found that at this stage in my life I am looking at a blank canvass, which at first looked a little daunting. Now, I embrace it. I'm looking forward to filling that canvass with all kinds of new experiences, rich with new friends, beautiful places and memories to last a lifetime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm hoping to have the opportunity to meet people from different cultures all over the world that want to share their experiences, people that love adventure, music and art, out of the box thinkers.

It would be great to make new friends and find some people that might want to travel together sometime. I'm always up for a new adventure even if it's just here locally. There are fun things to do everywhere. So, lets go!!

Writing is my first love, but I also like photography and almost anything outdoors; hiking, kayaking, fishing, bicycling, rollerblading, camping, outdoor music venues to name a few.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in this area is pretty eclectic. The only type of movie I don't especially care for is horror otherwise I'm open to all types, drama action, suspense, documentaries etc. Romantic comedies and Indie movies the most.

I'm a big fan of music of almost most any kind, (except rap and hip hop), especially in small hole in the wall type venues. I love the raw, sexy sound of the blues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, if I have to narrow it down to just one thing it would be having my two children. Bringing a life in the world is a pretty extraordinary thing.

As far as things I've seen and done, sunset at the Grand Canyon, the Rocky Mountains from 30k feet, the fall colors in the Ozarks, Puget Sound, snowshoeing in Maine, hiking in Estes Park, Colorado, Ireland by train.

Whenever you learn something new it creates a new pathway in your brain. It's those pathways that keep you LIVING. I hope to always be learning something new.
