I am Babsi, 28 years old, from Austria.
I studied social pedagogy and afterwards I did the European Voluntary Service in Gran Canaria/ Spain, working in a kindergarten. During that year I traveled around Spain and Morocco using Couchsurfing for the first time!
After coming back home, I didn't feel like staying in Austria, so I went to Australia. I lived in Sydney for half a year and worked as an aupair. Then I did my big trip in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand! That was the most amazing thing I've ever done! Afterwards I started studying Psychology, spent one exchange year in Granada/ Spain and now I'm back to Vienna. By now I'm also working full time with children and teenagers who can't live with their parents.

Thanks to this website I met some great people all around the world and some of them I can really call my close friends now! It's such a good opportunity to meet new people all and get to know other cultures!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I had my first real cultural shock when I went to Morocco and I absolutely loved it! Even though many people told me not to stay with Couchsurfers there, I made amazing experiences and wonderful new friends!
