About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mission!?? To write the nine books I have festering in my head, and to give my son a really awesome life

ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 year old single mom, majoring in English/Creative Writing, and I will finally be graduating next June! I am Seattle born and raised. I love traveling, but I haven't done enough of it yet! I'm very low income, so that impedes my traveling capabilities, but sometimes (like this summer) I like to exchange paying rent on an apartment for traveling. I can't afford to pay hotel costs, but I have enough money to pay my own expenses, and I'm a great [vegan] cook, so anyone who takes us in is guaranteed some delicious and healthy meals while I'm around!
I want my son to grow up seeing a lot of different ways of life and meeting and knowing a lot of awesome people, with the exception of aggressive or fickle people, who I try to avoid as much as possible.
I love body art, and if you have a lot of it, I might stare at you, but I'm not being creepy, I'm just admiring all your great art.
I also love art in general, good books, plays, and most of all (something we often lack in Seattle): SUNSHINE!!!!!!! I enjoy going out for drinks, but not around my son. I have no problem with people who drink or smoke weed, as long as it isn't exposed to my son. I do however have a huge problem with people who use meth or are addicted to ANY drugs (even marijuana!)
I am vegan, and I always love meeting other vegans, but I'm not the type to push my morals onto others (unless you flap a piece of meat in my face, which is just rude) I would rather cook delicious vegan food for carnivores than harass them :)
My son was born in late December of 2007, and is a delightful little boy, very well behaved for his age. He is saliently generous; always giving his toys, or food, or other things he likes to family, friends, and even strangers. He loves to look through books and laugh, and is a generally happy, sweet, and beautiful little guy. We had wanted to go camping in Hawaii this summer, but just discovered that he will be needing minor surgery shortly before we leave, and thus need indoors and more secure places to stay while in Honolulu. I really don't know anything about Hawaii, I have just always wanted to go because I've heard such wonderful things and seen such lovely pictures, and when I was a kid I always wished m mom would take me..so now I'm fulfilling my childhood wish for myself and my son! I would love to meet some chill and interesting people who can show my son and I the best parts of the island, or at least point us in the right direction! I'm pretty open-minded in terms of getting along with people: the only people I really can't stand are snobs, aggressive people, and people currently addicted to drugs (no problem with people who've been clean for a while and are over that part of their lives..we all make mistakes :) ...if you've never been to Seattle, or don't know it's reputation, you might think it's a little strange how many times I've listed that I don't want to be around drug addicts, but if you're familiar with Seattle, you should understand that they tend to be difficult to avoid here!)

PHILOSOPHY

I really want my son and I (and everyone) to be HAPPY.
