My mission is to help end pain in the world that is brought on by poverty and racism

ABOUT ME

I am a very nice person who wears her heart on her sleeve. I love to go out and have a good time. I am amazed by history and where people come from and love water falls. I also love mountains but have a big fear of heights...so I never climb any. I love to write poetry and read books.

PHILOSOPHY

Well my personal philosophy is if you are not a part of the solution then you are nothing but the problem. I live my life in hopes of helping others find what they need to live theirs. I serve as resource to the community that I work for in hopes that someday they will not need me anymore...because they will have found their own power and can fix the system on their own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To be honest the only couch surfing I have ever done is with family of friends. It was great and Cheap! I went to Miami and New York. They open their homes to me only knowing me through an friend but it was a great experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love scary movies, romantic comedies, comedies in general, movies based on true stories, a drama filled movies. I loved any movie with Angelina Jolie in it (I own 6 of her movies).
I like Country, r&B old school rap, Techno, rock, pop, and alternative.
Books: A piece of Cake, Monster, Kite Runner, anything by Zane, The Impossible May Take Awhile, Jubilee, The Different Drum, Not Afraid to Dare, The Color Purple, This list could go one…I like books based on reality

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don’t know what I have done but I have seen people beat the odds and pull themselves up and carry on when everyone thought they would fail. I have seen children learn to be kids again and stop worrying if they would be killed tomorrow and I think that is pretty amazing!

I don’t know what to put here. I could try and teach people how we are all connected and need to help each other. I could learn how others are helping people and what is different about their cultures. I could share our common fire…
